Design, in some capacity, has always been part of my story. Whether I was designing memorable weddings, dreaming up possible storyboards for publication, or curating my own home; it is part of how I serve others. This is something that is deeply connected to my identity as a mother and business owner.
I have always found joy in the design process and it ultimately led me to a clear vocation that was cultivated over my life experience. I can see that each step in my career, from corporate positions to new business ventures, has uniquely shaped me into the businesswoman I am today.
CMD is known for creating designs that are timeless and intentional, for homeowners to share their space with loved ones and those around them. Our experience ranges from historic renovations to new builds. Regardless of when the home was built, the end result is a balance of luxury and comfort.
Overseeing a design project has many parallels to starting a business. You have to ask both business culture and more personal home design questions that will inform the trajectory and process of the adventure.
Business culture question: How do you want your clients to feel when they work with you?
Home design question: How do you want your family to feel in the space?
Business culture question: How will you use your passion and strengths to serve your clients day in and day out?
Home design question: How will the space be used day in and day out?
The answers to these questions inform how we engage with our clients and how our clients engage with the space that we create for them.
We all have our vision of “the good life.” What we want to do in our home or business and how we want to feel…but how do we curate an environment conducive to that vision?
At that very point is where we come in. We strive to provide a service where we lend our expertise to create a home that you want to come home to and share with others.
Beautiful design is our platform for storytelling.
